Krakow is a surprising city. The architecture is stunning, the main square Rynek Glowny is breathtaking and there are events on all throughout the year from the magical Christmas market to the lively Jewish festival in June (including some lovely and bonkers events such as the Dachshund Parade when the market square is filled with... dachshunds).
Amongst the treasure trove of places to visit, the splendid Wawel Castle stands proudly alongside the broad Wisla river. Museums, theatres and art galleries abound and underground, Krakow is a labyrinth of restaurants, jazz bars and intriguing places in which to sample the huge variety of vodkas! Plenty of cafes, bars and beautiful old-fashioned tea-rooms add to the charm.
Whatever your interest, Krakow has plenty to offer.
